Year 11 have shown incredible commitment and determination as they continue their GCSE examinations.

On Friday, students came together for a special Good Luck Assembly where Mrs Gibson shared a video packed with good luck messages from staff across the academy, reminding students just how much the whole Darton community is behind them.

The hard work continued on Sunday, with more than 100 students attending an English Literature revision session ahead of Monday’s exam. Students worked incredibly hard throughout the morning, showing the resilience and dedication that has characterised this year group throughout Year 11.

To finish the session, students were rewarded with a visit from the chip van, a well-earned treat after an excellent morning of revision. Thank you to Mrs Gibson and Mrs Russell for delivering the sessions.

We are incredibly proud of the attitude, maturity and commitment shown by our Year 11 students. Good luck for the rest of your exams! Keep working hard and believing in yourselves. Everyone at Darton Academy is behind you all the way!
